For my cardboard piece I found it hard to make my original, envisioned idea because the cardboard, for me, was hard to work with. Trying to cut intricate and small details was hard due to the fact that the materials are stiff. Having to get rid of the original idea for the cardboard, I reworked my idea and made it way simpler than the first plan that I had. Another aspect that I found hard to work with was the adhesives we had to work with on this project. I found that when trying to connect my pieces with tap, none of the taps that I tried were strong enough and kept falling off. I also tried wood glue but also found that to be pretty unsuccessful because it took forever to dry, leaving the pieces not really connected how they should be. I do not believe this piece was very successful for two reasons. The First reason being I felt rushed on the amount of time I had to work on it, so it left me not putting a lot of time in because I was more worried about getting it done. The second reason is still based off of the first, yet still different, I felt that because I felt rushed and felt the materials were hard to work with I found the outcome was not good and left me just rushing to finish it. With this all being said I tried to still make a chair that looked comfortable like a beanbag chair.
